Step-by-step

  1. Take a light bar on your traps and grip it firmly
  2. Drop quickly into a half-squat depth
  3. Jump off the floor as explosively as possible
  4. Land softly on the balls of your feet, bending your knees to absorb the impact
  5. Flow smoothly from the landing into the next jump

Coaching tip

Don't exceed 20-30% of your max squat; this is an explosiveness exercise, not a strength lift.
