How to do Bodyweight Squat

Step-by-step

  1. Set your feet shoulder-width apart with your toes turned slightly out and your chest up.
  2. Push your hips back and lower down as if sitting into a chair.
  3. Descend until your thighs are parallel to the floor; keep your knees in line with your toes.
  4. Drive through your heels to stand up and squeeze your glutes at the top.
  5. Continue with controlled reps, keeping your back flat.

Coaching tip

Keep your weight on your heels and don't let your knees travel too far past your toes.
