How to do Walking Lunge

Step-by-step

  1. Stand tall with feet hip-width apart and your torso steady.
  2. Take a long step forward with one foot.
  3. Lower down until both knees are bent to about 90 degrees.
  4. Drive through the front heel to bring your back foot forward and continue stepping.
  5. Repeat by walking forward with alternating steps.

Coaching tip

Take a long stride, keep your torso upright as the back knee nears the floor, and drive through the front heel.
