Step-by-step

  1. Set your feet clearly wider than shoulder width and place one hand under your chest
  2. Put the other arm behind your back or on your leg, and lock in your core and glutes
  3. Lower by bending your elbow while keeping your torso as straight as possible
  4. Go as low as you can without losing control
  5. Drive through your palm back to the start; finish your reps, then switch arms

Coaching tip

Set your feet much wider than usual; the wide base makes balance possible on one arm.
