How to do Incline Push-Up

Step-by-step

  1. Place your hands shoulder-width apart on a bench, box, or sturdy elevated surface
  2. Step your feet back to form a straight line from head to heels
  3. Keep your torso tight by bracing your abs and squeezing your glutes
  4. Bend your elbows to lower your chest toward the surface under control
  5. Push off the surface to return to the starting position

Coaching tip

Place your hands on an elevated surface; an ideal starting point for the lower chest.
