How to do Push-Up

Step-by-step

  1. Get face down on the floor and place your hands slightly wider than shoulder width
  2. Push onto your toes and form a straight line from head to heels
  3. Keep your torso tight by bracing your abs and squeezing your glutes
  4. Bend your elbows to lower your chest toward the floor under control
  5. When your chest nears the floor, push through your palms to return to the starting position

Coaching tip

Keep your body in a straight line and brace your core as you lower your chest toward the floor.
