Step-by-step

  1. Sit at the end of a bench and grip it behind you with your hands
  2. Lean your torso slightly back and extend your legs forward
  3. Pull your knees toward your chest while bringing your torso slightly forward
  4. Hold the ab squeeze for one second
  5. Extend your legs again without letting them touch the floor

Lean your torso slightly back and pull your knees to your chest; the V shape should close and open.
