How to do Reverse Crunch

Step-by-step

  1. Lie on your back and press your arms into the floor at your sides.
  2. Lift your legs and bend your knees to 90 degrees.
  3. Using your abs, roll your hips up off the floor toward your chest.
  4. Bring your knees toward your chest under control.
  5. Lower your legs slowly to the starting position, keeping your lower back pressed to the floor.

Coaching tip

Roll your hips up off the floor and pull your knees toward your chest; don't use momentum.
