Push-Up Wide start and end positionPush-Up Wide start and end position

Step-by-step

  1. Place your hands a hand's length wider than shoulder width
  2. Keep your body in a straight line from head to heels and brace your core
  3. Let your elbows travel outward as you lower your chest toward the floor
  4. When your chest is close to the floor, drive through your palms back to the start
  5. Don't let your hips sag or pike up during the set

Coaching tip

Place your hands about a hand's length outside shoulder width; going wider impinges the shoulders.
