Step-by-step

  1. Lie on your back with your heels on sliders or a towel on a smooth floor
  2. Lift your hips into a bridge position
  3. Slowly slide your heels forward, extending your legs
  4. Pull your heels back toward your hips without dropping your pelvis
  5. Repeat while holding the bridge

Coaching tip

Make the sliding-out (eccentric) phase as slow as possible; that's where the hamstring strength is built.
