How to do One-Arm Kettlebell Floor Press

Step-by-step

  1. Lie on your back on the floor with knees bent, holding a kettlebell in one hand at shoulder level
  2. Keep your wrist straight so the bell rests against the outside of your forearm
  3. Press up while keeping your elbow at about 45 degrees from your torso
  4. Squeeze briefly at the top without letting your shoulder lift off the floor
  5. Lower under control until your elbow lightly touches the floor, then repeat

Coaching tip

Let the kettlebell rest against the outside of your wrist; pause for a second when your elbow touches the floor.
