How to do Mountain Climber

Step-by-step

  1. Get into a push-up position with your hands under your shoulders.
  2. Keep your body in a straight line from head to heels.
  3. Quickly drive one knee toward your chest.
  4. As you extend that leg back, drive the other knee forward.
  5. Switch legs rhythmically and quickly, as if running.

Coaching tip

Keep your hips low and stable, and maintain your rhythm as you quickly drive your knees to your chest without bouncing.
