How to do Kneeling Hip Flexor

Step-by-step

  1. Kneel on one knee with the other foot in front, bent at 90 degrees
  2. Keep your torso tall and squeeze the glute of the back leg
  3. Push your hips gently forward
  4. When you feel the stretch at the front of the back hip, hold for 30-45 seconds
  5. Switch sides and repeat

Coaching tip

If you sit at a desk all day, this stretch is for you; squeezing the glute doubles its effectiveness.
