How to do Incline Cable Chest Press

Step-by-step

  1. Place an incline bench in the middle of a dual cable station and grab the low pulley handles at shoulder level
  2. Pinch your shoulder blades together against the bench
  3. Press the handles up and slightly inward over your upper chest
  4. Squeeze your chest at the top without locking your elbows
  5. Lower back to shoulder level under control

Coaching tip

Cables provide constant tension throughout; bring the handles slightly together at the top.
