Step-by-step

  1. Lie on a decline bench with your feet secured
  2. Hold the dumbbells above your chest with palms facing each other
  3. Open your arms to the sides in a wide arc with a slight bend in the elbows
  4. When you feel a stretch in your chest, reverse and bring the dumbbells together along the same arc
  5. Squeeze your lower chest at the top for one second

Coaching tip

Keep the arc wide to target the lower chest; prioritize the stretch and squeeze over the load.
