Step-by-step
- Set your feet much wider than shoulder width with your toes pointing slightly out.
- Keeping your back upright, shift your weight onto one leg and squat down toward that side.
- Keep the heel of the squatting leg planted on the floor; extend the other leg straight and turn the toes up.
- Lower your hips down to the level of your heel, letting your knee track in the direction of your toes.
- Drive through the heel of the squatting leg to rise back to the starting position.
- Repeat the same movement on the other side.
