How to do Chest Dip

Step-by-step

  1. Grip the parallel bars and press yourself up with locked arms
  2. Lean your torso slightly forward and bend your knees back (to focus on the chest)
  3. Squeeze your shoulder blades together and keep your shoulders away from your ears
  4. Bend your elbows to lower your body under control, feeling a stretch in your chest
  5. Squeeze your chest to press yourself back up to the starting position

Coaching tip

Lean your torso forward and flare your elbows out to target the chest.
