Step-by-step

  1. Lie on your back, place your hands beside your head, and lift your legs.
  2. Keep your abs active by lifting your upper back slightly off the floor.
  3. Draw your right knee toward your chest while extending your left leg.
  4. Rotate your torso, bringing your left elbow toward your right knee.
  5. Switch sides under control, as if pedaling a bicycle.

Coaching tip

Rotate your torso as you bring elbow and knee together; do the movement under control, not fast.
