How to do Barbell Romanian Deadlift

Step-by-step

  1. Set your feet hip-width apart, grip the bar shoulder-width, and stand tall.
  2. Keep your knees slightly bent and fixed, and brace your core.
  3. Keeping your back flat, hinge back at the hips and lower the bar close to your legs.
  4. When you feel tension in your hamstrings, drive your hips forward to return to an upright position.

Push your hips back and keep your back flat; let the bar travel down close to your legs.
