Step-by-step

  1. Lie on your back and place your heels on a stability ball
  2. Lift your hips to form a straight line from shoulders to heels
  3. Pull the ball toward your hips with your heels
  4. When your knees reach 90 degrees, squeeze your hamstrings for one second
  5. Roll the ball back out under control; your hips never touch the floor

Coaching tip

Your hips must stay lifted the whole time; if the bridge collapses, the lower back works instead of the hamstrings.
