Step-by-step

  1. Set the bench to 45-60 degrees and sit back against it
  2. Hold the dumbbells with a hammer grip, arms hanging down
  3. Curl the dumbbells up keeping your elbows fixed behind you
  4. Squeeze for one second at the top
  5. Lower under control until you reach the full stretch

Coaching tip

The incline bench starts the biceps in a stretched position; don't start curling before feeling that bottom stretch.
