How to do Chin-Up

Step-by-step

  1. Grip the bar shoulder-width apart with your palms facing you (supinated).
  2. Hang with your arms fully extended and brace your core.
  3. Rise by pulling your shoulder blades down and using your biceps and back together.
  4. Bring your chin over the bar.
  5. Lower to the starting position slowly and under control.

Coaching tip

Face your palms toward you and pull up while keeping your elbows close to your body.
