How to do Cable Single-Arm Triceps Pushdown

Step-by-step

  1. Set the pulley to the high position and grip the single handle with one hand.
  2. Stand tall, pin your elbow to your body, and start with your forearm parallel to the floor.
  3. Moving only your forearm, push the handle down toward your leg.
  4. Squeeze your triceps once your arm is fully extended.
  5. Return to the starting position under control and switch arms at the end of the set.

Coaching tip

Pin your elbow to your body and push down with one arm; hold the peak contraction.
