How to do Rack Pull

Step-by-step

  1. Set the bar in a power rack at around knee height.
  2. Set your feet hip-width apart and grip the bar shoulder-width apart.
  3. Keep your back flat and your chest open, and set your hips back.
  4. Pull the bar up using your hips and back until you are standing tall.
  5. Squeeze your glutes and back at the top, then lower under control.

Coaching tip

Start the bar from knee height, keep your back flat, and lock out by driving your hips forward.
