How to do Meadows Row

Step-by-step

  1. Stand perpendicular to the bar and grip its near end with one hand (overhand).
  2. Hinge forward at the hips, keep your back flat, and brace against something with your free hand.
  3. Pull the bar up toward your hip, driving your elbow back and up.
  4. Squeeze that side of your back at the very top.
  5. Lower the weight under control and let your lat fully stretch.

Coaching tip

Grip the end of the landmine bar and pull with one arm, driving your elbow up.
