How to do Kneeling Single-Arm High Pulley Row

Step-by-step

  1. Attach a single handle to the high pulley and kneel on one knee facing the machine
  2. Grip the handle with the opposite hand, arm fully extended overhead
  3. Depress your shoulder blade and pull your elbow toward your ribs
  4. Once your elbow passes your torso, squeeze your back for one second
  5. Release the arm back to full extension under control; finish the reps, then switch sides

Coaching tip

The kneeling position removes leg drive; the entire pull must come from your back.
