How to do Kettlebell Figure 8

Step-by-step

  1. Set your feet wider than shoulder width and take a half-squat position
  2. Pass the kettlebell between your legs from front to back with one hand
  3. Hand it off to the other hand behind you
  4. Swing it around the front with the other hand, tracing a figure 8
  5. Keep a fluid rhythm; switch direction after a set number of reps

Coaching tip

Back flat, chest up; as the bell traces the 8 between your legs, your torso stays still like a table.
