How to do Dumbbell Lying Supination

Step-by-step

  1. Rest your forearm on a bench with the elbow bent 90 degrees and palm facing down
  2. Grip a dumbbell by one end
  3. Rotate your forearm to turn your palm toward the ceiling (supination)
  4. Hold for one second at the end range
  5. Return under control; finish the reps, then switch arms

Coaching tip

The twin of pronation; strengthens the golfer's-elbow area and the supinator muscles.
