ForearmsBeginnerBodyweightIsolation

Step-by-step

  1. Grip the pull-up bar at shoulder width with your palms facing forward.
  2. Lift your feet off the floor and let your body hang completely freely.
  3. Keep your shoulders active by pulling your shoulder blades slightly down.
  4. Hang for 20-60 seconds without swinging your body.
  5. When the time is up, lower yourself to the ground under control rather than dropping.

Coaching tip

Do not let your shoulders drop completely up to your ears; pull your shoulder blades slightly down to keep an active hanging position.
