Step-by-step

  1. Sit and rest your forearms on your thighs, this time with your palms facing down.
  2. Hold the bar with an overhand grip at shoulder width, with your wrists hanging off the edge of your knees.
  3. Let your wrists drop to feel a stretch on the top of your forearms.
  4. Bend the bar upward under control, raising the backs of your hands up.
  5. Squeeze briefly at the top and return slowly to the start.

Coaching tip

With your palms facing down, use light weight and raise your wrists up under control; don't overload the extensors, so keep the weight modest.

Caution

Skip this move or ask a professional first if you have pain or an injury in: wrist, elbow. FitCi filters it out of your program automatically based on the injuries in your profile.
