How to do Child's Pose

Step-by-step

  1. Kneel down and sit your hips back onto your heels
  2. Fold your torso forward, bringing your forehead toward the floor
  3. Extend your arms forward with palms on the floor
  4. Relax your shoulders, feel your back lengthen, and stay for 30-60 seconds
  5. Rise slowly out of the position

Coaching tip

With every exhale, sink your hips a little closer to your heels; release without forcing.
