How to do Rowing, Stationary

Step-by-step

  1. Strap your feet to the platform and grab the handle with both hands
  2. Start with knees bent, arms extended, torso slightly forward (the catch)
  3. Drive with your legs first, then lean your torso slightly back
  4. Finally pull the handle to your lower chest
  5. Extend the arms, hinge the torso forward, bend the knees, and repeat fluidly

Coaching tip

The order is always legs-body-arms, reversed on the way back; 60% of the power comes from the legs.
