How to do Burpee

Step-by-step

  1. Stand tall with your feet shoulder-width apart.
  2. Squat down and place your hands on the floor at shoulder width.
  3. Jump your feet back into a push-up (plank) position and, if you like, perform a push-up.
  4. Jump your feet back up next to your hands and return to the squat position.
  5. Explosively jump straight up while reaching your arms overhead, then return to the start.

Coaching tip

Blend the push-up and the jump into a smooth rhythm and keep your core tight.
