Step-by-step

  1. Hold a medicine ball with both hands between your legs
  2. Push your hips back to swing the ball down between your legs
  3. Drive your hips forward and up explosively as you stand
  4. Scoop the ball, releasing it forward and upward
  5. Retrieve the ball and repeat fluidly

Coaching tip

The throwing sibling of the kettlebell swing; launch the ball as high or far as possible with a hip explosion.
