What BMI does and does not tell you
Body mass index is weight divided by height squared (kg/m²). WHO classes: under 18.5 underweight, 18.5–24.9 normal, 25–29.9 overweight, 30 and above obese.
BMI cannot tell muscle from fat; a regular lifter can read as "overweight" at a healthy body-fat level. Waist circumference and progress photos are better guides; FitCi tracks both.
Go beyond the number
FitCi tracks weight, measurements and progress photos together, and builds your training and diet plan for your goal.
